Summer is Around The Corner
For many families that means your children will be spending time away from home to participate in various summer activities, including summer camp. Your children will be supervised and surrounded by adults and children you may not know as well as you would like.

While it may not be something we want to think about, and while it is not a subject most parents feel comfortable speaking about with their children, as parents we need to empower and protect our children as best we can from these dangers.
Research shows that a parent speaking to their children has the greatest impact on keeping your children safe from adults who may seek to molest or otherwise abuse them, so it pays to learn how to speak with them in an appropriate manner.
Project S.A.R.A.H. will be giving brief workshops in private homes to share with parents how they can approach this subject matter, and develop ongoing and effective communication designed to provide your children with the knowledge and strategies to help keep them safe from any kind of abuse.
Parents will also learn how to communicate with children, so that if children are abused, they will feel comfortable sharing that information with you, and you will be in a position to help them cope in the best way possible.
